Changes to Homiletics
While it pained us to do so, the team made one of the hardest decision to discontinue the printed version of Homiletics. Being avid readers and book lovers ourselves, we understand that nothing can replace the printed word in your hand.
But the financial team had a sad truth to share -- in order to keep Homiletics going for all our subscribers, we had to discontinue print.
So with a sad heart, we made the July // August 2018 issue the last printed journal to mail. Our promise to continue providing the same quality content and sermon resource material you have come to expect hasn't changed.
Keep reading to learn more about this decision and how that will change the future of Homiletics.
Welcome to Homiletics Online.
As of July 2018, we've upgraded our website. This website is a step closer to our goal of providing a cleaner website that is much easier to navigate. It feels fresh and clean. It is a new start.
Without the printed journal, our team emerges with new energy and more time to focus solely on the content and online website.
For some hints about how to navigate the website click here to find our “Getting Started: A Quick Guide to Homiletics Online” Help Doc and let us walk you through the weekly installment and search features.
Ways to still print your articles.
If you're still looking for ways to print your articles, there are two options for printing on each weekly article page.
Once you've found the article you are interested in - using one of our many search features or viewing a specific issue - you will find links to Printer Friendly formats in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
Clicking on the first single paper icon will print the Main Text Only. The second icon with two pages will print the Main Text and all of its Related pieces. The commentary, animating illustrations, Children's Sermon, Worship Resources and other links and texts will print at the end of each main article.
From there, you can choose to physically print the article, or choose Print to PDF (if your computer has that option) for an on the go PDF version to take with you, even when you're offline.
We'd also love to hear from you what you'd like to see next for Homiletics. Send us an email to service@HomileticsOnline.com to suggest what you would love to see added to the website or just made a little easier for you in preparing for this week's sermons.
We thank all of our faithful subscribers for sticking with us through this transition and looking forward to what's ahead.
